USB-C Active Optical Cables

The active optical USB-C fibre-optic-copper hybrid cables transmit data or high-resolution videos quickly and without loss over distances of up to 30 metres. In addition to their outstanding transmission performance, they impress with robust metal connector housings and excellent installation properties.

Data and video transmission over long distances

When it comes to transferring data and videos in professional applications, a high-performance, robust connection cable is the be-all and end-all for smooth data transfer to achieve an optimal result. As suitable products for this, we can offer our USB Type C AOC hybrid cables in two versions: Type 1 is used for data transfer with a speed of up to 10 Gbit/s, Type 2 transmits high-resolution video signals up to 8K/60Hz with a speed of up to 32.4 Gbit/s. The robust metal connector housings provide very good EMC shielding and increase the service life. The cables are sheathed in a high-quality CPR material classified with the EN 13501-6 standard. With an outer diameter of only 4.5 mm, they are thin and supple and easy to install.

Due to their length (up to 30 metres), good EMC shielding and performance, the data and video cables are suitable for many applications where high transmission speed and long cable lengths are required. These can be industrial environments, laboratories or medical areas, but also surveillance or virtual reality (VR) systems.
