TTLan DC and UFS system solutions

Our many years of experience in the assembly and manufacture of cables and components, coupled with our in-depth industry know-how in the field of data centres, have flowed into two exquisite and holistic system solutions for professional use in the data centre. Our portfolio of system solutions includes our TTLan DC system, a holistic copper and fibre optic system solution for cabinet-to-cabinet connections in the data centre, as well as a holistic fibre optic system solution for 19-inch server cabinets in the form of our TTLan UFS system. For both system solutions, we have placed particular emphasis on maximum performance and modular expandability, so that our system solutions can grow together with your data centre without making costly changes to the structure.

TTLan DC System

The TTLan DC system is our integrated copper and fiber optic system solution for cabinet-to-cabinet connections in the data centre, but can also be easily used for consolidation point applications or in the regular infrastructure environment. It can be individually equipped with copper connection technology and fiber optic connection technology convinces through the use of trunk cabling with short installation times (plug & play) and a high level of ease of maintenance. Our TTLan DC system essentially consists of the following modules and can be individually assembled:

TTLan DC Trunk Cables

Our TTLan DC trunk cables form the data highway of our TTLan DC system

Our TTLan DC trunk cables are available in copper and fiber optic versions. In the copper version, the TTLan DC trunk cable consists of a 6x4x2xAWG 26 cable and two 6x RJ45 module (F) heads with light detection. The lengths can be individually determined up to a maximum of 60 meters and achieve transmission values of up to 10G BaseT; ISDN; ATM. It is also PoE capable.
In the fibre optic version, the TTLan DC trunk cable is available in an OM4 Multimode fibre with two 6x LC duplex module (F) heads with light detection or an OS2 Singlemode fibre with two 6x LC duplex module (F) heads with light detection. The cladding material meets the LSOH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) requirements and achieves transmission speeds of 10GBase-SR/SW in both versions.

TTLan DC Front Panel

Our TTLan DC front panel forms the organizational heart of our TTLan DC system

Our TTLan DC front panel can be individually equipped with the copper or fiber optic version of our TTLan® DC trunk cable. The TTLan DC front panel takes up one height unit in the 19" cabinet and impresses with a small depth of only 35 mm. With 8 module cut-outs, the TTLan DC front panel can accommodate an individual fiber optic and copper mix of 8 TTLan DC trunk cables with 6 RJ45 or LC duplex ports each. This allows an extremely high packing density of 48 ports in one height unit. The TTLan DC front panel is also made of high-quality sheet steel, powder-coated, and has an earthing cable.

TTLan DC Patch Cables

Our TTLan DC patch cords form the port-to-port data highway in our TTLan DC system

Our TTLan DC patch cables are available in copper and fiber optic versions. In the copper version, the TTLan DC patch cables consist of our highly flexible TTLan UltraFlex Cat.6A S/FTP patch cable with a bending radius of up to 10 mm and are therefore ideal for applications for optimized cable management in network cabinets. The small bending radius also results in significantly longer durability compared to standard patch cables for applications in "motion" or frequent handling. The patch cable is UL listed. 3P, as well as GHMT, are also available.
In the fibre optic version, the TTLan DC patch cables consist of our high-quality fibre optic LC Uniboot PC duplex patch cables as OM4 or OS2. The cable's equipment with PushPull tabs ensures significantly faster patching in the data centre through simplified plugging and unplugging. The cable is also equipped with a marker for the current polarity status.

TTLan Accessories

Our TTLan DC accessories offer you many possibilities for additional expansion of our TTLan DC system

In addition to the core elements of our TTLan DC system, we offer our customers the option of supplementing the system with further accessories. These include, for example, our TTLan DC splitter modules 6x LC Duplex (F) to MTP (M) OM4 / OS2, TTLan DC blind plates for 1 module breakout, and the LED detector.

EASY TO INSTALL

All components of the system are pre-assembled, equipped with measurement protocols, and can be installed as plug & play. The additional LED signaling ensures easy allocation, which not only makes installation simple but also saves time and reduces access times in the data center.

TTLan UFS System

Compact modular installation system
The TTLan UFS system is our holistic fibre optic system solution for ideal fibre management in 19-inch server racks and specially developed for high packing density. The TTLan UFS system is individually configurable due to its modular design, impresses with its highly compact construction, and includes drawers from 1 up to 4 height units, cable management systems, and pull-outs for 6, 4 or 2 MTP 24 modules. Thus, up to 144 ports can be realized in one height unit. Our TTLan UFS system essentially consists of the following modules and can be assembled individually:

TTLan UFS Drawer Holders

Our TTLan UFS drawer supports are the depth-adjustable housing unit and form the frame of our TTLan UFS system

The TTLan UFS drawer supports are available in 3 different height units, whereby one height unit offers space for up to three TTLan UFS pull-outs and, depending on the pull-outs and conversion modules, allows the following ports to be realized:

  • 1 U: max. 144x LC ports / max. 864x MTP 24 ports
  • 2 U: max. 288x LC ports / max. 1,728x MTP 24 ports
  • 4 U: max. 576x LC ports / max. 3,456x MTP 24 ports

TTLan UFS Drawers

Our extendible TTLan UFS drawers form the basis for our TTLan UFS conversion modules

The TTLan UFS drawers are available in 3 sizes:

  • 3“: for 6 modules
  • 4.5“: for 4 modules
  • 9": for 2 modules

The TTLan UFS drawers also offer the option of making changes to the cassette guides independently if requirements change.

TTLan UFS Conversion Modules

Our TTLan UFS conversion modules serve as a distribution system for pre-assembled LC, patch and trunk cables

The TTLan UFS conversion modules are available as OM4 Multimode and OS2 Singlemode in the following versions:

  • 3" conversion module 1x MTP 8 to 8x LC
  • 4.5" conversion module 1x MTP12 to 12x LC 12 to 12x LC
  • 9" conversion module 1x MTP 24 to 24x LC
  • 9" conversion module 2x MTP 12 to 24x LC 12 to 24x LC
  • 9" conversion module 3x MTP 8 to 24x LC

TTLan UFS MTP Trunk Cables

Our halogen-free TTLan UFS MTP trunk cables are of the longest service life

Our halogen-free TTLan UFS MTP trunk cables with multi-fiber MTP connectors are double reinforced with an additional Kevlar braid and are well equipped for the special requirements in the data center, where additional protection of the cable sheath is necessary. The construction with a double Kevlar-reinforced cable jacket is robust enough to withstand the pull-through of the installation and suitable for horizontal use.

Trunk cables are available in OM4 and OS2 and with a choice of 24, 48, 96, or 144 fibers.

TTLan UFS MTP Patch Cables

Our halogen-free TTLan UFS MTP patch cables are the ideal solution for patching cross-connections in the data center

Our halogen-free TTLan UFS MTP patch cables with thin, flexible fiber optic cable and multi-fiber MTP connector are the ideal solution for patching cross-connections in the data center. The round cable with a diameter of only 3.0 mm is space-saving and optimizes air circulation in the server room.
The MTP patch cables are available in OM4 and OS2 and transmit data at a speed of up to 40 Gbps.
