Our client
satis&fy AG, headquartered in Karben, represented in three countries with ten locations, is a well-known international market leader for live communication and 3D marketing. The specialist for AV, sound and lighting technology installs all media technology at events, in showrooms, live acts, etc. satis&fy AG works closely with specialists in the various technical fields to achieve the perfect image, sound and show experience for every event. In order to meet this high standard, only state-of-the-art equipment is used, which has previously been put through its paces in terms of performance and safety.
The challenge
satis&fy were looking for an HDMI cable solution that can bridge long distances and should also have a certain robustness. The cable must function stably in the application field of events and failures due to cable breakage etc. must be avoided.
The cable solution should meet the following criteria: It should be highly flexible and reelable so that it can be wound onto a cable reel. In addition, it must support 4K and be able to transmit the HDMI signals quickly and fail-safe up to a length of 100 metres. It was also desirable that it could withstand storage in cool places with high humidity at times.
